Her – Josiah Leming

Category : Music and Movies

Remember Josiah? Here’s another song of his, which I really really love. It’s called “Her” and it fits my mood perfectly. Enjoy!

Car door’s frozen
I can’t get to you
Your window’s open
The cold air’s pouring through
Your bones are broken
The belt won’t let you loose
And i’m left hoping
That you might wake up soon

I just stand and watch as they pull you from another world
Unraveling twisted plots, oh i wish you were another girl

And i’ll set the world on fire
Cause i could not satisfy her

Empty hallways
You can’t get to me
Open doorways
But you’re still searching for your keys
And i can’t open
The ears for which i sing
So i’ll just pass along
And baby you’ll start to hear me

You just sit and stare as if i’m from another land
In your comfortable chair, oh i wish i were another man

And i’ll set the world on fire
Cause i could not satisfy her

Satisfaction seems to be
The key that turns, the air we breathe
It brings us now so confidently crawling on our knees
So you try to satisfy the hours
But you’re ignorance won’t fight the fires
And your innocence can’t kill desire
So you’re not as perfect as you seem to be

You didn’t get to know her because you didn’t deserve to know her, you just thought you knew her, you just hoped that image was hers. She stopped loving you way back when she fell sick because of what you brought upon her. And everything else was supposed to be revenge. And it was. And you felt it. You thought she would be devastated when you left, but there was nothing left of you inside her heart. How can you hurt something if it is not there? She wasn’t there, you just thought she was. Empty, hollow, echo… Will you be happy? Yes, you will. Will it last? No, it won’t. Were you worth it? She thinks not. All of them will think not.

Romanians in the World – Lucian Bute

Category : Romania in the World

It’s about time I wrote about Lucian Bute! He’s been doing so great in the past three years! IBF Super Middleweight Champion, a title he won in 2007 and succeeded in keeping it in 2008, after a match with William Joppy. TKO, round 10….he just had fun! I’m so proud!

As an amateur, Bute won the bronze medal at the 1999 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Houston, Texas and the Gold Medal at the 2001 Francophone Games.
At a height of 6′2 and an arm length of 27.5″, Bute has a professional record of 22 wins (18 KO’s), 0 losses and 0 draws. He is the IBF super middleweight champion. Bute is trained by Stéphane Larouche, who also trained former world champions Éric Lucas and Leonard Dorin.
On June 15, 2007, Bute faced super middleweight contender and former Olympian Sakio Bika at the Bell Centre in Montreal in an elimination bout for the IBF title. Bute beat Bika by unanimous decision (116-111, 118-109, 118-109). Bute got his shot at the IBF super middleweight champion Alejandro Berrio on October 19, 2007. Bute beat Berrio via TKO in the 11th round. With this victory, Bute became the third Romanian world champion, Leonard Dorin and Mihai Leu are the other two.

Thanks, wiki!
Now you might be wondering why on earth is a woman writing about boxing. Trust me, you don’t want to know! But since you (didn’t, LOL) ask, I’m a fanatic of real violent competitions. “Real” excludes wrestling and includes boxing, K1 and PRIDE. I know, I know….My favorite men with gloves: Mr. Ali, Lucian Bute, Leonard Dorin (boxing), Peter Aerts and Remy Bonjasky (K1) and Fedor Emelianenko (Pride).
