That’s what I do when I feel depressed! Well… I actually dance with no reason in particular, but it applies to this instance also, lol!
Let’s say you’re depressed or overwhelmed by work and stress. The quickest remedy to recover energy and feel good is dancing. It doesn’t matter if you dance like Shakira or like my grandfather: having two left feet! Dance therapy works with anyone!
Do you know why it makes you feel good? Well, think about it: dancing brings a triple dose of happiness to speed up the metabolism, elimination of stress hormones and increase the level of endorphins, chemicals that make you feel better.
Furthermore, as the music is itself a source of welfare, you move at your own pace, you enjoy doing it, not to mention that it is a great exercise. So if one day you feel under the weather, don’t wait! Rise the volume up and dance on the rhythm of your favorite music! Hear that? You better not come to work sad again, girl, because I’m going to make you DANCE!!!
