How many times a day do you say or hear “Oh, my legs are killing me!”? I hear it quite a few times.
It’s normal! Our legs bear the weight of our body and, as we are continuously moving from side to side, at the end of a busy day our legs end tired, heavy and sore.
Follow these simple and practical tips for changing your daily habits and you’ll see the change in your legs!
- Don ‘t stop: If you work and stay a long time sitting in the same position, or spend a lot of time standing, start changing your stance. Get up often, go to the bathroom, up and down stairs and move your legs while you’re sitting.
- Walk: Do it at least 30 minutes a day. If you’re on the beach, do it in the sand, which is perfect for toning the muscles and speeding up the joints. I one am walking everyday for at least one hour!
- Raise your legs: Whenever possible, make a pause and raise your legs for a few minutes. At bedtime, put a pillow under your knees.
- Drink plenty of water: You’re probably sick of hearing this: drink at least 8 glasses of water a day! But it is true! Water is one of the best weapons to combat fluid retention and weight.
- Have a massage done: Daily, at the end of the day, massage your legs upward direction.
- Avoid hot wax: I know it’s the most efficient method of hair removal, but it worsens blood traffic, encouraging the emergence of varicose veins and spider veins. So you should do it, but don’t use hot wax and don’t do it too often.
- Avoid stretched clothing: Jeans that are too tight are hindering blood flow and favor fluid retention.
- Avoid extremely high heels: They’re sexy, I know, but the ideal heel for a show is 3 to 5 inches. If you exceed that height, a contraction in the muscles is produced, which hinders the smooth return of blood. Also, you should avoid weird-looking heels. I know it might make the shoe look beautiful, but is it healthy for your feet?
- Do not abuse the sun: Too much sun and hot baths dilate capillaries.
- Do not smoke: Smoking, among other things, leaves toxic waste behind, which affects the micro blood circulation, promoting further the appearance of cellulite.
There you are, 10 easy tips for you to have healthy sexy legs. Enjoy, hope you find this post useful!
