Recover the Lost Knowledge
This is my first favorite book ever. I’ve read it in Romanian, I’ve read it in English, I’ve read it in French. I might have read it about 5 times now and I was astonished by it every time. Just today I saw the movie and I couldn’t believe this version could depict the story so well. One reason I don’t like movies done after some well-known novels - they do not depict the essence of the book in the right way. But I found the 1992 version of Wuthering Heights at some friend’s. Starring Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche. And man, was it good! I even found a trailer!
If there’s one book you don’t want to miss reading at least once in your entire life, then this is Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights. Just one piece of advice: read the book before watching the movie. You’ll have the entire experience this way. Enjoy!
As for me, I’m going for another well done movie, Hamlet - 1996, featuring Kenneth Bragnah. Quite hard to find. But with good friends around…

Oh, this novel is so sad. I had to read it for the college literature courses….soooo sad, but it’s rather unique the way Emily Bronte treats this theme. I didn’t see the movie yet, I don’t have such good friends. Probably going to rent it someday
Some gloomy day :))
