they are trained to paint, i saw it on the news. A trainer sits with them while spectators ask for a certain picture. I don’t know the technique though…it is very effective, as we can see.

you guys didn’t see the other things these animals can paint! You can see they like it, it brings them joy! I doubt they are being beaten…

As much as I would want to believe this is real, I kinda think those elephants are beaten to death to give representations as such in order to gather money for the community. Which is NOT nice! But I have to agree the simple act of drawing something that accurately is amazing.
