1. Sacrificing sleep: sleeping less than seven or eight hours is associated with many health problems, including obesity, diabetes or cancer.
2. Ignoring going to the doctor: better spend 30 minutes discovering a disease than not finding out about it in time
3. Not using your brain: brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s affects almost everyone who lives long enough to suffer, but if you read, play games or solve puzzles will help you keep away from such diseases, in addition to entertain yourself.
4. Unprotected sex: too much sex doesn’t kill you, it’s the risks involved by having unprotected sex that may do it.
5. Careless driving: traffic accidents are the leading cause (by far) of mortality in people between1 and 35 years.
6. Drinking too much: we already know that drinking too may cause harm to our health so you should avoid drinking more than you can handle.
7. Stress: too many people spend their lives concerning about it instead of enjoying it to the fullest.
8. Watch too much TV: It’s ok to watch TV from time to time, but it’s not ok to remain stuck in front of your plasma for hours and hours.
9. Smoking: just like in the case of drinking, smoking steals away precious years from ones life.
10. Eating junk food: the ideal option would be to exercise and eat healthily every day.
There you go, 10 steps we all seem to take towards self destruction in different extents. I don’t know about you, but I used to do a lot of these stupid things before and still do a couple of them today, which sucks! You and I should think better!
